Bhutan Red Eye Cordyceps Sinensis – The Golden Treasure of the Himalayas
Bhutan Red Eye Cordyceps Sinensis, known locally as "Yartsa Gunbu" (meaning “summer grass, winter worm”), is one of the rarest and most valuable medicinal fungi in the world. Grown naturally in the pristine alpine meadows of Bhutan at altitudes between 4,500 to 5,500 meters, this unique fungus is revered for its exceptional quality, potent medicinal properties, and scarcity.
The “Red Eye” variety is considered the highest grade of Bhutanese cordyceps — identified by its reddish head (the fruiting body) and firm, intact caterpillar base — signifying freshness, purity, and potency.
